About Me

I am a wife and mother of two very energetic kids.  I have loved books as far back as I can remember.  As a child I often experienced bouts of insomnia.  When I couldn't sleep, evening became a really difficult time of day.  Sometimes it was lonely being the only one awake, tossing and turning, noticing every sound in the dark.  That's when I really began to discover books.  I would get out my flashlight, throw the covers over my head and read for hours.  Charlotte's Web was among my stack of favorites.  I read that one over and over again.  Books became an amazing way to escape and take my mind off the anxiety of nighttime sleeplessness.
Bouts of insomnia continue to follow me as an adult and books still transform what could be hours of frustration into time I actually cherish.  I have an enormous respect for all writers and truly believe the world would stop spinning all together if they stopped writing.  My beta reading feedback will always be honest but never cruel or destructive.  I never forget there is a person behind the words.  You put your heart and soul, not to mention all your hard work into sharing your talent with the world.  I'm honored to be able to read the stories you have created.
